In Unit 2 of Signing Naturally, we learned the following signs: All, down, eat, five minutes. These 3 signs are worth a total of 10 points. There was also a homework assignment for this unit, which is worth a total of 10 points. 1) Write the sign "all" with your dominant hand once, and then with your non-dominant hand 10x in a row. 2) Make up ten sentences that you might use "all" in, and then choose five you would want to use to answer this question: Do you know how to tell somebody not to do something? 3) Write the sign "down" with both hands 1 time each. 4) Make up a story, in writing, about a time you helped somebody. Use the sign "down" in the story. 5) Write the sign "eat" 10x with your dominant hand, and then with your non-dominant hand 10x in a row. Then make up ten sentences about what you ate yesterday (don't forget the part of speech for each), and do five of them using "ate." 6) Practice these five phrases: 1) What did you eat for breakfast this morning? 2) Yesterday we ate at Steak n’ Shake. 3) We don't eat meat. 4) I like to eat Chinese food sometimes. 5) I only eat at home. 6) What else did you eat yesterday? 7) Make up a sentence using the words "five minutes" and the signs "down" and "eat." 8) Use the sign "up" with your dominant hand, then with your non-dominant hand 10x in a row. Then make up ten sentences that you would use "up" in. 9) Do three fingerplays with examples of fingerplays that are about "all," "down," and"eat." 10) Write the signed phrase alligators eat crocodiles for one paper. 1. "eat" – I'm going to eat an ice cream. 3. Find a word that has the following characteristics: "ALL" - We all use it in a sentence, and generally meant as a summary of a larger section of action or conversation. "DOWN" - Activity has ceased, may be because the plane has landed or because the activity is complete, but not necessarily so.
